Wespath Institutional Investments (WII) is a not-for-profit subsidiary of Wespath Benefits and Investments (WBI), a general agency of The United Methodist Church (UMC). WII, together with WBI and its related subsidiaries, manages over $26 billion in assets on behalf of over 150 United Methodist-related organizations and 100,000 participants (as of December 31, 2023). WII provides investment solutions for institutional investors related to the UMC including foundations, children’s homes, older adult facilities, higher education institutions and healthcare organizations. Like this post to help us congratulate the Hampton University students who competed May 14 in the finals of the Intentional Endowments Network’s Student Corporate Engagement Challenge! Wespath senior analyst Chirag Acharya mentored the Hampton students throughout the competition. University teams competing in the challenge pitched an investment in a company and recommended a shareholder engagement strategy for the company focused on addressing crucial sustainability risks.
